Therapy comes to you — not the other way around
Licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists in your apartment or on-site gym. No clinic trips after a fall or hospital stay.
Who Restore is built for
One in four adults 65+ falls each year — falls remain a leading cause of injury-related death (CDC, 2024). Consistent rehab after a fall or hospitalization is among the most evidence-supported ways to protect independence (NIA, 2024).
Restore helps when your parent is using a walker for the first time, struggling with buttons, choking on thin liquids, or losing words mid-sentence.

Three disciplines, one coordinated team
- Physical therapy
Strength, balance, gait training, and fall recovery after hip fractures, strokes, or hospital stays.
- Occupational therapy
Dressing, bathing, meal prep, and adaptive equipment so daily tasks stay possible.
- Speech-language pathology
Swallowing safety, voice volume, and word-finding support after stroke or Parkinson's.
Medicare & your care plan
When a physician orders medically necessary therapy, Medicare Part B often covers PT, OT, and speech services. Your Health Services Director verifies benefits and out-of-pocket costs before the first session — no surprises.
Restore is part of a broader wellness plan
In-apartment PT, OT, and speech therapy coordinate with nursing and life enrichment after discharge.

Frequently asked questions
- Is Restore the same as a skilled nursing facility stay?
- No. Restore is therapy inside your assisted living apartment or community gym. You keep your home and routines while therapists visit several times per week.
- Does Medicare cover in-house rehabilitation at Aegis Living?
- Medicare Part B or Medicare Advantage often covers medically necessary therapy when a physician documents expected improvement. We verify coverage before sessions begin.
- How long does a typical Restore therapy episode last?
- Common range is 4–12 weeks with two to five sessions weekly. Therapists re-evaluate every 30 days while documented progress continues.
- Can my parent receive Restore therapy if they live in memory care?
- Yes. Therapists adapt sessions with cueing, music, and shorter intervals inside Life's Neighborhood®.
- What happens after therapy ends?
- Therapists write a Functional Maintenance Program that caregivers help integrate into daily routines. Therapy can restart if needs change.
- Do I have to move into Aegis Living to use Restore?
- Restore is part of residency. Respite stays let families trial the program during recovery without a long-term commitment.
